= Value Architecture Reference Content =
The LEADing Practice Value Architecture Reference Content is the result of research, industry expert and academic consensus and agreement.

The Way of Thinking around Value disciplines, is the essential starting point that creates the value reference content guiding principles. It provides a structural concept around strategic value definitions e.g. value wants, value needs, value identification, value goals, value issues and problems.

The way of value thinking furthermore postulates about what ought to be, with the right value abstraction level, which can analyze, appraise, approximate, assess and capture a value objects and or value artefacts idea, design, plan, scheme and structure in order to understand the underlying value concept, thought, view, vision as well as perspective, philosophy and belief. The purpose of having a common way of thinking around value concepts is to define how to organize and structure the viewpoints and value objects associated with the various disciplines e.g. value engineering, value modelling and enterprise architecture applying the concepts. The value reference concept has proven to help companies with some of the most common and complex advanced value principles, dilemmas and challenges that companies has to confront today.

This includes, but is not limited to:
*Link strategy to execution.
*Identification of value and performance drivers.
*Mapping of business model domains and which aspects are value creating.
*Relate value drivers to service model.
*Apply value based process design.
*Capture the value flow among the many diverse and different workflows such as e.g. business workflows, service workflows, process flows, application system flows, data flows, reporting flows, etc.
*For decision making, specify value aspects in the measurements and reporting.
*All aspects of value architecture and business architecture.
*Analyze and develop value maturity levels and create a value development path.
*Interlink the value aspects to the innovation and transformation programs and projects.

What many organizations do not realize is that there is something common within all the mentioned areas where value aspects need to be applied. the common things are the value objects. We have through research and analysis identified the semantic relations of the various value objects and how they can be applied within different disciplines. the relations of the value objects is build into our value artefacts e.g. value maps, value matrices and or value models.
